An open-plan kitchen
renovation in Prestwich
Jemma and Michael wanted to open up their Prestwich home and make better use of the space.
NMB managed the knock-through and renovation, combining Porter True Handleless cabinetry in Bay Green with quartz worktops. The open-plan layout brings cooking and dining together, with better storage and a more natural flow between rooms.

How much does a new kitchen in Prestwich cost?
Your budget depends on the size and layout, cabinets and door range, worktops, appliances and the installation work needed. Moving services or removing walls can add to the scope. We discuss these details during your home consultation.
Your Prestwich kitchen questions, answered
Nevin visits your home, measures the space and discusses your ideas, priorities and budget. We use the visit to understand your layout and the work your kitchen will need.
The schedule depends on your kitchen and the work involved. Removing the old kitchen, structural changes, plumbing and electrical work, plastering and worktop fitting can affect the programme. We discuss the scope and schedule with you before work begins.
Yes. We manage structural work where your design requires it, alongside the kitchen installation and the other trades involved. Removal of your existing kitchen and preparation of the space can be included in the agreed renovation.
Yes. We can arrange an appointment at our partner showroom in Denton to compare kitchen displays, door styles, finishes and worktop samples. Our Prestwich office is not a walk-in showroom.
Your quotation is based on the agreed design, products and installation scope. We discuss cabinetry, worktops, appliances and any preparation or structural work required.
Many customers stay at home while their kitchen is being renovated. There will be disruption, particularly during removal and structural work. We discuss the programme with you and keep you informed so you can plan around each stage.
