Our Story
NMB was founded by Nevin Smith, who has worked in the building trade for over 25 years. After gaining years of experience working with home improvement companies both on the tools and in management, he saw a clear gap in the market.
Homeowners were often treated like numbers by large companies. Jobs felt rushed. Communication was poor. There was little personal care or attention to detail.
Nevin wanted to change that.
NMB was created to provide a more personal, honest and reliable service. Craftsmanship and customer satisfaction always come first.
Kirsty joined the business in 2024, bringing her strong background in auditing, compliance, and business management. Her eye for detail and structured approach has helped NMB grow. It is now a highly organised, client-focused company.
Together, Nevin and Kirsty have built NMB into a trusted, family-run business. It is known for quality work, clear communication, and a friendly approach.
