Design in Details
Polly and Michael came to us in 2018 after buying their house in Whitefield North Manchester. The first part of the project was to open up a poorly designed extension to the rear of the house. Luckily this only involved a small amount of steelwork and was easily achieved. A couple of walls were removed to open up the space to what you now see in the photos.
We came up with a kitchen design on the CAD software so were fully aware of how the space would look with the new kitchen in there.
Polly and Michael wanted a classic looking kitchen so went with the Painted shaker doors along with a quartz worktop and solid Oak for the peninsular.
The doors were painted to Dust Grey and finished with classical style knobs and handles which were sourced by Polly. The Oak style flooring was from Egger and finished off the kitchens appearance very nicely. All work undertaken from building work to plastering and kitchen fitting by NMB.
The second part of their project completed some months later was the bathroom which we will include here underneath this section. The old bathroom was completely removed and all plastering was taken back to bare brick. All walls were reboarded and then tiled. Again Polly and Michael opted for a classical style in the bathroom going for a Victorian style suite and tile.
“We recently used NMB for our kitchen renovation. The job involved turning 3 smaller rooms in to one large space which required installing steel joists. From start to finish Nev and team were always on hand to discuss and whilst not everything went to plan (as with most projects of this kind! ), we always felt supported by Nev, with all obstacles being overcome quickly and effectively. The quality of work was exceptional and we have since chosen to use NMB for our bathroom renovation, as well as the remainder of our houseworks. NMB is not the cheapest out there, however for the service and quality I believe Nev is the right option for those wanting “belt and braces”. Thanks again to the team for their perserverence and hard work. Looking forward to the bathroom beginning now!”
