Design in Details

Clair came to us in early 2020 to discuss the possibility of making some structural alterations to the rear of her home to create a larger kitchen/dining space. The existing kitchen was not suitable for her needs and she wanted to open up the space so she could also entertain ocassionally.

The existing space was reasonable but lacked in storage space and worktop space. Situated across the back of the house it wasnt making the best of the available space.

After consulting a structural engineer it was agreed that two sides of the rear of the existing house walls could be removed provided we left a central column that would carry the necessary supporting steelwork.

Kitchen Design. After looking through over various catalogues and across the web on sites such as pinterest and all the other similar sites Clair came up with the colour scheme we can see here to the right.

The chosen door is a True Handleless door with the brushed aluminium profile set onto the cabinet. The quartz worktops are Carrara Venatino with sharks nose detailing to the front edge.

Flooring is an Engineered Oak click lock flooring
